Derek joined Speedinvest in January 2022 and is part of the Fund Reporting team. He manages the financial and non-financial reporting efforts towards Speedinvest's stakeholders.

Most recently, Derek worked at a private equity real estate fund in Vienna, where he supported management with investor relations and fundraising activities. Prior to this, he graduated from IE Business School with a double Bachelor’s Degree and worked with multiple startups across Europe in business development and operations. 

Derek was born in Germany and has since lived in seven countries across three continents. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking (but mostly) eating different cuisines, discovering new music, skateboarding, and snowboarding
