Stefan Klestil is the General Partner of the Speedinvest Fintech fund, Si F, and part of our Fintech & DeFi and Middle East, Africa, and Beyond investment teams.

A regular speaker at Money 2020 in Europe and Asia, Paris FinTech Forum, and conferences across EMEA, Stefan has more than 20 years of experience in international payments and banking technology as an advisor, operator, and investor. 

He is an early investor and worked closely with important global Fintech companies such as N26, Wefox, Curve, Billie, Bitpanda, Open, Wayflyer, andFairmoney. During his tenure at Speedinvest, he also has successfully exited Payworks (to Visa), iyzico (to payU/Naspers), and Holvi (to BBVA).

Prior to Speedinvest, Stefan was President of Central and Southern Europe at First Data, Partner at Roland Berger, and Principal at A.T. Kearney, based in New York and Vienna. He holds master’s degrees from Columbia University and Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
