Stefan is a regular speaker at Money 2020 in Europe and Asia, Paris FinTech Forum and NOAH. He has more than 20 years of experience in the international payments and banking technology space as Advisor, Operator and Investor.
He is early investor and advisory/board member/observer at N26, Wefox, Curve, Billie, FinCompare, BNext, Ready2Order and Luko. Stefan also successfully exited Payworks (to Visa), iyzico (to payU/Naspers) and Holvi (to BBVA) and was an active board member in all three companies. In addition, Stefan is supporting the founders of Primer, Bank Open, Bitpanda, Shopup, Wayflyer, Fairmoney, +Simple, Lemonway, Credi2 and Factris.
Previously, he was President of Central and Southern Europe at First Data, Partner at Roland Berger, and Principal at A.T. Kearney, based in New York and Vienna. He holds Master’s degrees from Columbia University and Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
