Dr. Hendrik Steenfadt

Based in our Berlin office, Hendrik is a member of Speedinvest’s Health & TechBio team, focused on finding and funding the very best early stage startups.

Trained as a medical doctor, Hendrik treated patients in the larger university hospitals of Munich, Zurich, Boston and Berlin, before deciding to leave the white coat behind and join the venture capital and start-up ecosystem. 

Prior to Speedinvest, Hendrik was part of a Berlin-based early stage VC firm focused on making a lasting impact on patient care and better outcomes. 

Hendrik holds an MD from Technical University of Munich and a PhD (Doctor of Medical Science) in chronic pain modulation.

Outside of work you will find him catching up with his friends over good food and getting out the tennis and squash racket from time to time.
