Hugues Le Maire

Hugues has more than 20 years of investment and company-building experience in France.

He began his career at the Bank of David Rothschild before starting his own asset management company in 2009. After selling the company in 2018, Hugues founded LM Invest France, an advisory investment company.

Since 2022, Hugues has focused on Strategic Partnerships in France on behalf of Speedinvest. Using his expansive business network, Hugues connects our portfolio companies with major French corporates for mutually beneficial business partnerships and is an on-the-ground ambassador for the fund.

Hugues was born and raised in Paris. He is the father of three children, two of whom were born in Canada where he worked for several years before returning to Paris where he is now based full-time.
