Nawi Cheema

As part of Speedinvest’s Investor Relations team, Nawi supports the day-to-day relations with the investors, making sure the investors have a great brand experience with Speedinvest. 

Nawi graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Economics and International Relations. While at university, she worked for a tech startup tackling food waste and was also involved in the organizing committee of TEDxUniversityOfAberdeen, co-organising the Ted Talks event. That’s when Nawi developed a keen interest in the discourse surrounding entrepreneurship, innovation and the tech startup world. Owing to this passion, she then worked for an accelerator where she was responsible for scouting early-stage impact-driven startups with a tech solution advancing one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Having already worked closely with zero-to-one founders, she now looks forward to changing sides and building and fostering effective relationships with investors at Speedinvest.

When not working, Nawi enjoys spending time being outdoors and going on hikes.
