Simone works across the investment and portfolio controlling teams, supporting deal execution, growth initiatives, and the sourcing of European technology opportunities, with a dedicated focus on building the firm’s Italian investment strategy. He is actively involved in portfolio management across fintech investments, contributing to exit analysis, restructuring initiatives, and selective portfolio monitoring.

He moved to Vienna and joined Speedinvest in 2022 after working for three years as a FP&A and investment analyst in Luxembourg, where he was part of the team that launched a private equity space tech fund.

Simone holds a BSc in Business Administration and Management (minor in Innovation Management) from Bocconi University and a MSc in Investment Analysis from Aston Business School.

Originally from Italy, he has lived in five European countries. Outside of work, he is an aspiring beach volleyball player who also enjoys non-fiction books, graphic novels, and art auctions.
