Vanessa Waibel

Vanessa joined the Emerging Markets Fintech team in our London office in January of 2022, after finishing her MBA at HEC Paris.

Prior to Speedinvest, Vanessa was part of the Lazard Venture & Growth Banking team, where she helped European scaleups raise funds. Prior to that she gained experience in early-stage startups, having worked for the Swiss-based company Meepl where she watched it grow from 7 employees to eventually exiting to German ecommerce giant Zalando in 2020.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Vanessa enjoys anything to do with mountains, surf and sea.
